Futurist Speaker Simon J. Anderson gave the closing keynote in Seattle yesterday at EMBAC 2017

Thought-provoking keynote speaker, award-winning author, and emerging trends and technologies consultant Simon J. Anderson shared his insights on the near-future possibilities for executive MBA programs worldwide yesterday at the Executive MBA Council's 2017 International Conference. In his closing keynote, Mr. Anderson brought attention to important trends and technologies that are transforming how we educate the workforce of the future, and provided new approaches to anticipating the opportunities and challenges that rapid advancements in technology might create. 

Topics covered in Mr. Anderson's presentation included advancements in automation, adaptive learning platforms, global broadband connectivity, workforce and workplace trends, and disruptive new technologies such as autonomous vehicles and the blockchain. Lastly, he outlined specific actions and next steps that leaders and organizations can take to be more future-resilient. 

The world is being transformed by exponential advancements in technology and every one of our lives and careers will be touched by these advancements. My role as a futurist is to help leaders pay attention to how fast the world is changing, anticipate some of the possibilities these changes could create, and take action to be more future resilient.
